Program Overview

CoMET Group Therapy: Compassion-Oriented & Mindfulness-Based Exposure Therapy

CoMET is an evidence-based group therapy program rooted in trauma-informed care, specifically designed to support individuals experiencing Posttraumatic Stress Symptoms (PTSD).

This structured 8-week group program includes weekly, 2-hour sessions that emphasize the development of practical, mindfulness-based therapy and compassion-focused emotion regulation strategies.

Program Highlights:

Practical Tools: Gain effective skills to manage trauma symptoms, transition out of 'survival mode,' and cultivate lasting wellbeing.

No Active Processing: The CoMET group therapy model prioritizes skill-building over the active processing of past traumatic events.

Privacy First: Participants are not required to share personal histories, ensuring a comfortable experience.

Intimate Experience: To foster a safe and supportive community environment, the group size is limited to 4–8 participants.
