Jane Mathews

Clinical Psychologist Registrar

 BSc(Psych)(Hons), MPsych(Clinical)

Jane is a Clinical Psychologist Registrar who works with children, adolescents, and adults, offering thoughtful, evidence-based support  tailored to each stage of life.

She brings experience from both  public and private settings, and has supported people through a wide  range of challenges, including depression, anxiety, ADHD, trauma,  Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), Autism, and  relationship difficulties—whether within families, friendships, or romantic partnerships. Jane also works with clients navigating life  transitions, new diagnoses, workplace stress, and the everyday pressures that can feel overwhelming at times.

Jane draws on a range of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical  Behaviour Therapy (DBT). From there, she supports clients to take meaningful steps toward a life that feels more authentic, fulfilling, and aligned with who they are.

Outside of the clinic, Jane loves exploring new places, whether that’s discovering a new café, getting out  into nature, or planning her next trip. She also enjoys unwinding with a feel-good show or spending time playing games on her Switch.
