We offer a multi-step Autism Assessment process that includes observations, interviews, a detailed report and a feedback session to provide a complete picture of developmental and behavioural profiles.
For Adults
- Why an Autism assessment is helpful: An adult Autism assessment supports self-understanding, confirms a diagnosis, and outlines a unique developmental profile to help shape goals for growth.
- Assessment Process: Our adult Autism assessment Includes an initial interview (1.5 hours; in-person only), social-emotional questionnaires, an interactive sensory-based assessment session using the MIGDAS-2, and a feedback session.
- Fees:
- Initial Interview: $250 (In-person only)
- Autism Assessment & Report Write-up: $1,300
- Feedback Session: $170
- Note: Additional Sessions/ Assessments can be added if required & the Final Fee is confirmed during the Initial Interview.
For Children & Adolescents
- Why an Autism is helpful: Autism assessments for children help build a positive sense of self and reveals their unique thinking, communication, and social styles.
- Assessment Process: Our Child assessment process begins with a parent-only interview (1.5 hours; in-person or via telehealth if required), followed by an interactive sensory-based assessment session using the MIGDAS-2, teacher questionnaires, and a feedback session.
- Fees:
- Initial Parent Interview: $250 (In-person or via telehealth if required)
- Autism Assessment & Report Write-up: $1,500
- Feedback Session: $170
- Note: Additional Sessions/ Assessments can be added if required & the Final Fee is confirmed during the Initial Parent Interview.
ADHD Assessment
Our ADHD assessments are designed to identify individual strengths and challenges, providing a personalised plan for success.
For Adults
- Why an ADHD assessment is helpful: An ADHD assessment provides a deep understanding of your cognitive processes and executive functioning to help you cope better at home and work.
- Assessment Process: An initial interview (1.5 hours; in-person or via telehealth if required), followed by social-emotional questionnaires, optional cognitive testing, and a final feedback session.
- Fees:
- Initial Interview: $250 (In-person or via telehealth if required)
- Analysis & Report Write-up: $600
- Feedback Session: $170
- Note: Additional Sessions/ Assessments can be added if required & the Final Fee is confirmed during the Initial Interview.
For Children & Adolescents
- Why an ADHD assessment is helpful: An ADHD assessment outlines your child's unique developmental profile to help shape meaningful goals for growth and support at home and school.
- Process: Parent-only interview (1.5 hours; in-person or via telehealth if required), social-emotional questionnaires, child cognitive assessment (WISC-V or WPPSI-IV), teacher questionnaires, and a feedback session.
- Fees:
- Initial Parent Interview: $250 (In-person or via telehealth if required)
- Assessment & Report Write-up: $1,300
- Feedback Session: $170
- Note: Additional Sessions/ Assessments can be added if required & the Final Fee is confirmed during the Initial Interview.
Important Information for all ADHD and Autism Assessments
- Medicare Rebates: Our Autism and ADHD assessments in Fremantle are conducted by our Provisional Psychologist, namely, Rebecca Rowland. While they are not eligible for Medicare rebates, their fees are lower to reflect this, and all reports are supervised and signed by an experienced registered Psychologist.
- NDIS & Insurance: NDIS typically does not cover diagnostic Autism and ADHD assessments, but our reports are valid for NDIS applications. Please check with your private health insurer regarding potential rebates for psychological assessments.
- Medication: Psychologists are unable to prescribe medication. To explore medication options for ADHD, you'll need to consult a Psychiatrist.
- Cancellation Policy: A $150 fee per scheduled hour applies for cancellations or rescheduling with less than 2 business days' notice (i.e., excluding weekends & public holidays).
