Rebecca Rowland is a Provisional Psychologist currently completing the 5+1 pathway towards general registration. She holds a Master of Professional Psychology and has experience working across private practice and school settings, supporting children, adolescents, and adults.
Rebecca has extensive experience with neurodivergent young people, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and is also skilled in supporting adults navigating anxiety, depression, stress, and adjustment-related difficulties. She is passionate about providing neuroaffirming, trauma-informed, and evidence-based support across the lifespan, helping individuals and families build resilience and confidence.
Her therapeutic approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and tailored to each client’s unique needs and goals. Rebecca draws on a range of evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based strategies. She also incorporates creative and play-based interventions when working with children, and practical, solution-focused strategies with adolescents and adults.
Alongside her private practice role, Rebecca also works as a school counsellor, providing direct support to students and consultation to families and educators. Her areas of interest span anxiety management, emotional regulation, school transitions, neurodiversity, parent support, and building self-esteem. For adults, Rebecca provides support in managing mood difficulties, workplace stress, relationship challenges, and life transitions.
Rebecca is committed to creating a safe and supportive space where children, adolescents, and adults feel understood, empowered, and equipped to work toward meaningful and sustainable change.
