Jane is a Clinical Psychologist Registrar specializing in mental health support for children, adolescents, and adults, offering thoughtful, evidence-based psychological services tailored to each stage of life.
She brings valuable experience from both public and private settings, having supported individuals through a wide range of challenges, including depression, anxiety, ADHD, trauma, and relationship difficulties. Jane also assists clients navigating life transitions, new diagnoses, and workplace stress.
Jane utilizes culturally-informed care and a variety of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). Additionally, she is expanding her expertise in Schema Therapy, fostering a growing interest in understanding deeper patterns and long-standing emotional themes. Jane integrates these approaches flexibly, adapting to what best fits each individual rather than applying a one-size-fits-all methodology.
At the heart of Jane’s work lies a person-centred philosophy. She values collaboration and views therapy as a shared process, where clients are the experts in their own lives. Jane emphasizes each person’s goals, values, and autonomy while being particularly passionate about helping individuals gain clarity around what truly matters to them. From this foundation, she supports clients in taking meaningful steps towards a life that feels more authentic, fulfilling, and aligned with who they are.
Outside of her clinical work, Jane enjoys exploring new places, whether that means discovering a quaint café, enjoying nature, or planning her next adventure. She also finds joy in unwinding with a feel-good show or spending time playing games on her Switch.
Jane is currently accepting new clients, offering mental health support both in-person and via telehealth on Thursdays and Fridays, 10 am - 5 pm.
Note: Jane operates an independent private practice and contracts ASK Psychology to provide necessary administrative support and business infrastructure to enhance her psychological services. Bookings can be made through ASK Psychology.
